What we're looking for
When the mission demands a rapid prototype or a scrappy solution over pixel-perfect polish, are you the designer who fearlessly gets something out?
At Outtake, we value speed, hustle, and a deep understanding of user experience. We're looking for a Product Designer who thrives in fast-paced environments, prefers rapid iteration to pixel-perfection, and has the UX and product instincts to keep us aligned with our mission.
Do you possess strong opinions about user experience that you can quickly evolve based on user feedback, data insights, or evolving product goals?
What you'll achieve
- Craft intuitive, impactful, and elegant designs for workflows that empower some of the most influential and socially meaningful customers globally.
- Quickly iterate and validate product concepts through sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, bringing a practical perspective to design implementation, ensuring designs align effectively with technical capabilities.
- Engage directly with customers to deeply understand their workflows, challenges, and aspirations, translating these insights into powerful product experiences.
- Shape the visual and interactive language of Outtake, influencing product direction and contributing significantly to our company culture as we scale.
What you'll need to bring
- High Hustle & Execution: You're relentlessly resourceful, embracing speed, iteration, and momentum over perfection.
- UX & Product Mindset: You instinctively place user needs and behaviors at the heart of your design decisions, always aligning product experiences with business goals.
- Experience & Skill: At least 4 years of experience designing and shipping impactful digital products with clear outcomes.
- Practical and Adaptive: You quickly adapt your designs based on feedback, user research, and real-world constraints, always remaining pragmatic.
- Collaboration & Communication: You effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly articulate design decisions, trade-offs, and strategies.
Bonus points if…
- You've designed products or workflows powered by Large Language Models (LLMs).
- You've worked on investigation, research, analytics, or cybersecurity tools, bringing domain-specific insights into your designs.
- You have front-end engineering experience or can comfortably reason about technical implementation and collaborate closely with engineers.
